International Child Care has lost a dear friend. Jean Naughtrip, 91, was involved with ICC for decades. She served on the board, visited the programs and spread the word of the work being done in Haiti. Jean felt that it was her Christian duty to empower and support those less fortunate in this world.
Since the early days of International Child Care, Jean had been an enormous supporter of the work in Haiti. Through Grayson Atha, Jean and her husband Joe became friends of the Snavely’s. From this relationship, they were able to see the need of children and families Haiti.
Over the years, Jean advocated for children in Haiti to have access to healthcare. Her years on the board and support of the organization showed her significant commitment to the work of International Child Care. The staff and ICC family will greatly cherish her contributions and time. Her spirit will be cherished as an integral part of ICC.
