Calling all riders: it is time to get ready for the 9th annual Race for Grace! On August 29, 2015, Race for Grace riders will hit the streets of Wichita Falls, Texas, riding increments of 10k all the way up to 100 miles to bring health and hope to the children of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. For those that have participated in the past, we can’t wait to see you again. For those of you who are considering riding, this is a great year to start.
The Race for Grace raises money for International Child Care's (ICC) health projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Money raised from this event helps to support children like Deborah, whose families cannot afford the medical services that their children desperately need. Race for Grace also helps families with disabled children, like the Martinez family, receive at-home rehabilitation in their remote communities. As the biggest fundraiser of the year, the success of Race for Grace is critical to the children and families that depend on ICC. For most of the population that we serve, ICC is often their only resource to receive the treatment and services that their health demands, regardless of their ability to pay.
You can help ICC save and change lives by sponsoring or participating in the event. Click this link for corporate sponsorship opportunities. Click here for registration details. We ask that each rider raise at least $250 to support the children of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. By raising $250 you will receive a Race for Grace jersey to be worn on the day of the event.
Can't ride or live too far away? No problem! Help raise money by supporting other riders. Look on ourRazoo fundraising page and support one of the teams pedaling their way to promoting health and hope in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
